Kidderminster
The British Sugar beet factory in Kidderminster opened in 1925, the land had originallybeen part of the estate built up by Thomas Foley a 17th century Iron master, it was later bought by the Earl of Dudley, and eventually sold off in 1923.

Only a small selection of prints exists at present, these were mainly taken during the last few weeks of Sugar production at Kidderminster prior to closure. A few were made the previous year when I worked at the plant during the winter Sugar Beet campaign.
