Gevaert B&W Reversal Processing

First Developer    
Metol 2 g  
Sodium Sulphite (anh) 50 g  
Hydroquinone 8 g  
Sodium Carbonate (anh) 60 g  
Potassium Bromide 5 g  
Potassium Thiocyanate 5 g  
Water to 1 litre  
     
Bleach Bath    
Water
750ml  
Potassium Dichromate 5 g  
Sulphuric acid (conc) - see note 10 ml ADD THE SULPHURIC ACID DROP BY DROP TO THE 750ml WITH CARE.
Water to 1 litre  
     
Clearing Bath    

Sodium Sulphite (anhyd)

20 g  
Sodium Hydroxide 0.8 g  
Water to 1 litre  
     
Second Development    
Metol 2 g  
Sodium Sulphite (anhyd) 60 g  
Hydroquinone 4 g  
Sodium Carbonate (anhyd 40 g  
Potassium Bromide 1 g  
Water to 1 litre  
     
     
First Developer 20°C (68°F) 8-10 mins fast films, 6-9 mins for slower fine grain films  
Wash 5 mins  
Reversal Bath 5 - 7 minutes  
Wash 1 - 2 minutes  
Clearing Bath 2 -3 minutes  
Re-exposure

Expose to 100 watt bulb for 5-10 minutes at 5ft/1.5 metres

 
Second Development Stop development when desired density is reached  
Wash Rinse  
Fixer Fix in normal acid fixing bath.  
Wash 30 mins
