In March 2002, Seong Isidore Hospital reopened as the Seong Isidore Welfare Clinic with a hospice focus, and thanks to the support of donor members and the assistance of the Isidore Rural Development Association, it operates completely free of charge. In 2003, they built a racehorse ranch with a total site area exceeding 4.9 million square meters, and began sales operations and owner activities focusing on horse breeding and training and acclimatization. In 2007, while expanding the horse massage facility,

As the state, exercising its monopoly power and raising enormous tax revenues, has imposed various layers of regulation on the legal private-sector industry, especially the horse racing industry, there are now claims that it is now necessary to seek the privatization of the horse racing industry. For the deeply troubled horse racing industry to regain vitality, the best solution may be to move it from being tied up in a nominal public enterprise to being operated by the private sector. However, some argue that if such a bill passes, the prices for sports promotion lottery tickets and lottery sales will rise, suggesting that controversy is expected.

They also decided to pursue amendments to the Gambling Supervision Committee Act so that when the relevant ministries, such as the Ministry of Agriculture, Food and Rural Affairs and the Ministry of Culture, Sports and Tourism, issue approval for the establishment, relocation, or confirmation of off-track sales outlets, they must consult with the Gambling Supervision Committee in advance. In addition, the government decided to conduct a survey of the problematic existing over-the-counter sales outlets in the first half of next year and establish either a plan to normalize them or a mid- to long-term plan for their gradual relocation to the outskirts. In addition, the designated seat system will be fully implemented by 2016, and the electronic card system by 2018, and the addiction prevention centers within off-track betting outlets that provide users with gambling addiction prevention and psychological treatment will also be expanded.

The Korea Racing Authority had originally planned to finalize and announce the horse racing innovation plan in November, but it is facing difficulties as related organizations, including producers, have shown strong opposition. The Korea Racing Authority is in a difficult position, as Chairman Hyun Myung-kwan is demanding a strong push to enter Part II, making it impossible to easily abandon the innovation plan. Producers cannot stand by and watch the already obvious contraction of the domestic horse production base, so the growing pains surrounding the push for an integrated origin and racing system do not seem likely to subside anytime soon.As opposition from horse racing officials grew stronger, the Korea Racing Authority presented a compromise plan in November. The adjustment plan proposes that, in the case of integrated mountainous areas, integration will proceed by year starting from the higher-level counties, while other counties will separate domestic and foreign production.

While serving as Vice President of the Korea Rural Economic Institute, he attended a forum on improving the racehorse tax system for the development of agriculture and livestock, and served as an advisor to the Korea Rural Horse Industry Association. When he earned his doctorate in agricultural economics in Germany in the 1980s, he had already been involved with the horse industry. In a 2016 interview with Horse Industry Journal, the newly appointed CEO emphasized the establishment of item-specific cooperatives,

However, from an objective and common-sense perspective, the current strike situation is described as the KCTU’s“almost unreasonable demands bordering on tantrums” and a “bulldozer-style stubborn struggle,” which is “playing the role of a bad mother-in-law worsening the situation,” they stated. In particular, he said it would have been better if, as Kim Byung-hong, the party leader, who stressed the fight to raise the refund rate, had at least emphasized one of the demands of customers and fans,

test008

He lamented the situation where no horse racing official is advocating for an increase in the refund rate, and even though everyone is stepping up to lead the push for a higher refund rate, it remains unclear whether it will actually change, yet they are only pushing their own demands. He argued that the one task is to “persuade and fight the National Assembly and the government so that the domestic horse racing refund rate, which can be called the worst in the world at 73%, can be raised to at least the Japanese level of 80%.

Regarding this strike, he emphasized, “Even if it is a right of the KCTU,people should know that horse racing is a completely different industry from other manufacturing and service sectors,”stressing that ignoring the fairness of horse racing, which is conducted through free competition, and focusing solely on income distribution rather than competition does not fit with the horse racing system. They said they knew that since last year, a KCTU official has been stationed

On the afternoon of the 17th, the government held a meeting at the Seoul Government Complex, chaired by Prime Minister Chung Hong-won, with the Integrated Supervisory Committee on the Gambling Industry (ISC), the Ministry of Agriculture, Food and Rural Affairs, the Ministry of Culture, Sports and Tourism, and other related ministries, to finalize and announce the “Measures for the Sound Development of the Gambling Industry.”According to the government’s soundness plan, the prior impact assessment system and the prior consultation system will be fully implemented by the second half of next year. To this end, the government plans to revise the “Integrated Supervisory Commission Act on the Gambling Industry” by the first half of next year. In particular, even if the establishment of an off-track sales office is unavoidable, this plan must go through smooth consultation with local residents, but only in places that are not residential areas or near schools.

My hope and dream is to be among the medal contenders even at the highest difficulty, 5-star, to win a gold medal and show that I can compete at that level.Jeon Jae-hee, who competes in Europe, the birthplace of equestrianism, came to Korea for the 2018 Jakarta-Palembang Asian Games selection trials. We met with Jeon Jae-hee, who received full support from Europe and Korea to participate in the domestic selection trials, and heard about equestrian life in Europe and Korea.

Auctions selling young horses are also held from time to time, and horses circulate, keeping the economy moving.I had been training under Coach Kim Seung-hwan since I was young, and through frequent contact with Coach Riveb, with whom I was acquainted at the time, I formed a connection with Belgium. Europe has a completely different equestrian system from Korea, and since it is the birthplace of equestrianism, I have come here and am active. Since I was a child, I thought that because I was good at horseback riding in Korea, I should eventually make it to Europe.

Looking at the horses competing in Korea, it is clear that not much has changed from the past. Still, when the domestic equestrian situation was decent, we bought horses in Europe and good horses came in and so on. However, the horse that ran during the 2014 Asian Games is not being circulated and is still running as is. I think if companies and others provide support, the conversation will circulate and better equestrian environments and culture could be created. An important point is that, without the association operating normally,

Since I started working in Europe right after the 2014 Incheon Asian Games, I don’t know the situation in the domestic equestrian community very well. However, when I returned to Korea to participate in the National Sports Festival or other major competitions, I could indirectly sense that it had become really difficult to do horseback riding within the country. The difficulty seemed greater than expected. Even in Europe, I tried to secure sponsorships from Korean companies for my activities, but it was not easy.

Under the guidance of coach Lieveen Dibos, who was the Belgian champion. I have had a relationship with Coach Lee Ben since we were young, and we have stayed together ever since, and I still receive a lot of help from him. He even helped find horses for the selection match and provided a great deal of material and emotional support until he came to Korea. The story is complicated, but it’s true that Coach Riven gave a lot of support. In Europe, sponsorship sometimes means several people facing each other.

Korean athletes participating in various competitions, such as the Asian Games, is more than double that of Japanese athletes’ horses. In Korea, the horses used by the athletes vary in price, and the athletes also go to the United States or Europe to receive individual training. However, most Japanese athletes are active within Japan, and they compete while working at riding clubs with just a horse. In my opinion, the level of Korean is higher than that of Japan.Seri-machi, a trainer and expert in taming and training retired racehorses,

Producers argue that if integrated production bases are established, domestically bred racehorses will be shunned by buyers and the production infrastructure will collapse. They are particularly criticizing the Korea Racing Authority for pushing through the matter unilaterally without any measures addressing differences in race performance or the producers of domestic horses. The Korea Thoroughbred Breeders Association (President Oh Young-bok) held an emergency general meeting on the 19th and, with 63 out of 64 attendees voting in favor, resolved to oppose the Korea Racing Authority’s innovation plan and respond strongly. In addition, the Korea Thoroughbred Breeders Association signed an agreement with the Inland Thoroughbred Breeders Association (Chairman Jang Yong-seok) to launch the “Korea Thoroughbred Breeders Development Measures Promotion Committee” on the same day.

Championships held in the United States and the Asian Games held in Jakarta will compete in separate groups. For now, in the comprehensive magic, the same performer is scheduled to change horses, ride, and compete. One player has several horses, and here we expect a gold medal. The group of athletes competing in the apparatus events is only at the second-tier level of the national team participating in the World Equestrian Championships, so I think winning a medal will be difficult.
