A few Green Trains
This is a half-started project which has been on hold for a while.
Living 5 minutes walk from a preserved steam railway I began making a series of images, and visiting other preserved lines.
The title "A few Green Trains" stems from the many debates to be heard in the public houses near or associated with these lines, where you can hear lively discussion about the merits of the differing types of Locomotives.
If asked my opinion I've always answered that I only like the Green ones, adding that Blue & Maroon engines can also look nice.
We should not forget that Mallard's world speed record for a steam locomotive is within many of our life times, despite the dire straits of our rail network in the 21st century.
